The objective of the Maze exercise is for a group of people to move an object through a maze to reach a goal. It might be a butterfly looking for a flower or a mouse after a slice of cheese. You have several different maze themes to choose from.
The difficulty in the Maze exercise is that everyone is controlling the same object. Participants vote with their clickers for the direction they want the object to go. This exercise is particularly useful in team building, demonstrating in a short period of time the phases of team development, and illustrating psychological and leadership concepts. Looks simple. The challenge is all in the teamwork. There are five basic maze exercises and if the group thinks it has this mastered, the four special exercises will get them storming again. |
