It's true: You really can find just about anything on eBay. Eminem's childhood house? Old news. The latest thing to make a splash was Item No. 1976909200: the Dartmough College swim team.

The NCAA Division I school announced around Thanksgiving that it was eliminating the men's and women's teams to save bucks; swim-team members posted the "once-in-a-lifetime" item shortly afterward.

One person actually bid $212,000 (and then retracted). But eBay removed the item earlier this month after the school said nice try but things don't work that way.
